I am finding it mildly amusing how many of the leftists in chile, most still believing because they are poor this frigen virus gives a dam, are suddenly getting a slap of reality.

I have heard the most absurd shit out of the pro-protesters in recent weeks about how the rich were all going to die.
Edgy teens and uni students like to show off their cynicism: in the US Internet they say the same thing about baby boomers and got "boomer remover" trending on Twitter.

The only joke I've seen was about cuicos bringing dangerous diseases into the country while they themselves were blaming immigrants for this.

The Opposition have presented a project to hold the Plebiscite on the 6th September. They want to get it done before this issue goes any further off the boil. And maybe they are trying to rush this project through before Piñera assumes emergency powers that just might cramp their style.

The left is already screwed.

The vast majority of Chileans just got a whole new set of priorities this morning, and a properly conducted poll would probably reflect a new constitution is not even on their to do list, let alone a priority anymore. Go do a poll of those freaked out people standing in the super market checkout lines today ( if they still have a supermarket in their neighborhood ).

Where is the left crying about their human rights violations and the military being called up.

No, today's news was full of leftist politicians crying that Pinera had not implemented more restrictions, and more this, and more that; all just moments after pinera had declared the states of emergency. He had not even left the podium yet, and the left was claiming they were going to force him to take stronger measures.

Woops, did that 6 million+ peso a month pay check to congress not come with immunity to a virus?

poor communist. They don't want to have to share the virus with anyone else.

Meanwhile, congress had to stop today. Guess why? They could not form a quarem to vote. ahhhh the brave, brave politicians in valpo.
