Buying a bus ticket on a sunday

Post by mem » Sun Oct 07, 2018 11:55 am

I know that turbus and Pullman have buses leaving the terminals around 8pm tonight, but the turbus office is closed today.

Is it possible/normal to show up at the terminal and buy a ticket from the bus driver in cash on the spot when the bus pulls in?

Where are you going? The cajas at the main terminal do not close but the last buses out could be full depending on where you are going. Tur-Bus and Pullman both allow online RedCompra purchases at a discount and you can check bus loads. I believe both companies no longer accept payment on the bus from point of origin but still do it for pickup on the road with no discount,

Santiago - thanks for the info. I managed to do it online with red compra, glad I didn't try to just pay on the spot
