Auto broker

Post by Maker42 » Tue Jul 03, 2018 9:13 pm

Anybody have any good experiences with an auto broker in Santiago or Vina/Valpo?

What sort of commission should I expect to pay for consignment?

We're leaving the country. Should I leave power of attorney to sell it with a friend?

If your in a hurry, try listing at auction on macal.

From what i have seen the final prices are typically not that far off from justt selling. Perhaps 30% less than market. After factoring in all the hassel of showing the car and such, pretty close to market. Think they charge a 3% commision.

We have sold a few vehicals for clients / friends over the years through local papers and dealers. It is a total hassel for us, and there is no cheap way for us to do it because of all the time involved(we are not a dealership). so i end up needing to pass the cost on to the client, and there is no way in advance to know how much that is going to cost. Every car is diffrent.
