Where can I find all year Sunniest and Warmest area in Chile.
Where can I find all year Sunniest and Warmest area in Chile.
Want to visit a Chilean location that's warm and sunny all year round summer or winter. Somewhere with low humidity and not cold at night in winter. Thanks

The Atacama Desert is the driest place on Earth.... The average rainfall in the Chilean region of Antofagasta is just 1 mm per year. Some weather stations in the Atacama have never received rain.

While the Atacama Desert will certainly be the place with lowest humidity, temperatures can get very low during the night, specially during the winter.
For low-precipitation, warm-all-year areas, you should research about Iquique or Arica, as well as towns around them.

I guess someone should tell the OP about Google?

yea, and I am not sure the Atacama Desert is what they have in mind.

Since my reply was directed to the OP, the other posters can be excused for not reading the link I posted, but, if you actually have a look at it, it is a link to a Wikipedia page called 'Climate of Chile'. I could have not replied, or posted a rude reply 'a-la-Gloria', but instead I opted for a hint at where to get started looking for information. By the way, Iquique and Arica are both in the region of Antofagasta.

You are certainly right, I don't want to just go off on a random internet person, but I couldn't help avoid a bit of sarcasm as it seems the person asking the question didn't make much of an effort to do cursory research about the "climate of Chile."
I'm into maps and climate and such (just a bit nerdy), so I've seen that page many times before.

Villa Alemana but it's very suburb-y, think New Jersey. Almost no rain and low humidity but tons of dust.

Avoid altitude, maybe on the coast.
North and maybe centre, not south.
Morning fogs/humidity depends on individual locations.

Your reply was very much along my first reaction, and I thought on making some light joke along those lines, but, since mine would be the first reply, I opted for a useful link with some 'selected' text - that was my way of making a little fun of the question.Jamers41 wrote:
