Yep, can't see a problem with a court jester. He's much more beneficial for a healthy congress than all that "mi general!" crowd who thinks it's acceptable to wipe your ass with the constitution when things go the way the elites don't like.
The present Constitution was introduced by Pinochet in 1980. It has been amended several times since, notably by Ricardo Lagos, whose main aim seems to have been to get Pinocho's name off of it.

You may recall Bachelet's failed attempt to produce another one, complete with tame Asamblea Constituyente just like Venezuela.

Still no specific ass-wiping examples...

I meant not the current constitution but supporting and justifying the anti-constitutional coup of 1973. A politician who is meant to serve the Republic but claims that it's ok to ignore the whole system for some dubious "greater good" is basically a dormant traitor.

So after being out in the wilderness for a while Guiller has a few things to say. Some of them we already know and are actually bang on. Guess a major electoral defeat and reflection does that.
-Piñera has very few original ideas and jumps confusingly from topic to topic trying and grab the headlines of the day.
-Lavin is a flash in the plan populist who's bubble will soon pop.
-The left are so disorganized and divided their time is running out and they will probably hand election victory to the right at the next election if they dont sort their shit and differences out.

He's onto something but I really hope he will not try to get elected again. His performance at the debates was a major source of vergüenza ajena.

Bang on. After watching this gas bag on TV I thought if he gets elected, I'm out of here.

well seems bachelet's property near pucon is also in trouble for building irregularities; but, she ran away. they suspended the hearing because she could not be located to be served.

now, this sounds like either they did not try or they did not know how to serve her.

ohhhh, this is fun.

so pinera did not pay his property tax on his house near caburgua, nor did he have building permits, for 30 YEARS.

https://www.eldinamo.cl/nacional/2019/0 ... urgua/amp/

now that smells pretty politically motivated, because I can not think of a single similar case I have heard of a municipality going after such a rural property.

this is going to be quietly appealed, probably get tossed for statute of limitation reasons or at least dialed down to some sort of minor fine after he leaves office.

FYI, bachelete has a summer house next door to him up there. wonder if she is up to date on her taxes.
so pinera paid a 4.9 million fine. bad pinera. bad pinera.

now, if we can just catch that other scoff law fugitive that has left the country, and is hiding at the U.N., Bachelet. I say we have her extradited to stand trial, for crimes against architecture.

Twitter is probably the worst form of social media that exists, imo, Just look at how Orange face uses it. Piñera maybe a culiao but you never going to get idiots on Twitter to recognize or analyise anything more substantial than what they can fit into a tweet. Sound bites (,in written form) and catchphrases and knee jerk reactions are about as much as you can hope for in twittersphere, 99 percent of the time.

Oh, no doubt about that. Twitter's core functionality is awful for maintaining a thoughtful conversations but is great for harassing and summoning lynch mobs. Its team is absolutely dysfunctional in resolving these issues.

I would just shut down the whole thing.
