What do you really want for this 2017 Xmas?

Post by Gloria » Wed Dec 13, 2017 12:28 pm

Every year at the Post Office they have a box with kids letters requesting Xmas gifts such as.....tablets, computers, Xbox, a Xmas meal for 10 people, a smartphone and a vacation in Miami. Kids have the rest of their life to ask for things so now is our turn. Don't forget you are in Chile so is a must to lower your standards. :D Don't ask for impossibles such as ...no delinquency, corruption and that the packages gets to you in time...'cause that is not gonna happen....so let it rip, let it out.

As someone who has ~10 packages coming from abroad, all late, that hit the spot for me. Too bad it's on the "mustn't wish" list.

And you have the nerve to ask me with all the money you make? Try another wish!

Join the club. Me too.

I want a new pair of eyes, to see all the good things they tell me are out there.

Then we're really on the same club, as I'm also waiting for a new pair of reading glasses, among some other things.

So what's holding back your wishes? Make an appt with eye doctor or there is more to the story?

The glasses I ordered are specialty glasses, which aren't made on Chile. I know this for sure, as I shopped for about 2 weeks in over 20 optics before purchasing online. They are specialized, colorblindness correction glasses.

However, even through they were sent through an express shipping method, someone at Aduana is probably still trying to figure out how to tax me. Meanwhile I keep waiting.

As on the topic of what I really want, I don't think I really get the point of the topic. What could someone wish that they wouldn't be capable of getting themselves, considering "impossible things" are off-limits?

Glad you asked. My only wish for this Xmas is to be able to get decent internet connection and obviously I "depend on others" and totally out of our control. We live in the outskirts of the city in an area considered to be "dead zone".... We have unreliable Wifi and paying too much for deficient service.

It's better to use an expedition company like Chilebox because they have their own agents at customs and will collect taxes during checkout.
