Chile vs. Germany

Post by admin » Sun Jul 02, 2017 10:40 am

Chile vs. Germany today, and oh, yea, there is the first Presidential primary today. I would be surprised if the candidates show up to vote.

This is the second round with Germany, after a 1-1 draw.

Is it possible to watch the game streaming online for free? I don't have cable in my apartment haha

And yeah, it's an awful day for Chile to hold primaries. I'm not sure if everyone's disdain for the current administration is enough to get them out to vote on the day of such a huge game, but I'm also not sure if it could have been avoided somehow.

I take it you are in Santiago? Do you have a digital ready TV and do you have a regular indoor antenna? TVN is broadcasting it on their test HD channel throughout the country (2.2 here in San Antonio).

Haha, we don't have a television in my apartment at all, which is usually a good thing. And yeah, I'm in Santiago. I suppose I'll have to walk down to a pub with the false hope of finding a seat.

One dude I would not want to be for the next year is Marcelo Diaz.

that goal was a total Chile screw-up. The German that made the goal could not believe his luck that no one was there to chase him. He was looking around like he thought there was a whistle or something he had missed, then just tapped the ball slowly in to the net to be sure.

but, yea, Chile played with the big boys and consistently hung in there.

People on the Internet were too angry from the SA offensive football style and La Roja's aggressive players in general.

But then Germans went aggressive too and the web crowd started to cheer, so it seems to be more about "damn third worlders, don't you dare to challenge us like that!"

Don't take the FIFA ranking to heart. It's all BS and extremely flawed in the way they rank teams.

But from mid teens to top 4 based on international play, pretty good........FIFA is deeply flawed but its what it is.......
