descaler for espresso machine
descaler for espresso machine
Does anyone know if and where I can buy the descaler specific for espresso machines? I've tried the supermarkets but all I can find is something for kettles, but reading on the web, that shouldnt be used as it can damage the thermoblock. Alternatively, does anyone know of the mixture needed ? thanks

Re: descaler for espresso machine
I have just used vinegar to successfully restore my inexpensive little espresso machine back to working order!!! Had to repeat the process twice, but it worked and there is no lingering vinegar smell.

You can also use citric acid.

White vinegar is now easily available in Lider and Tottus whereas in the distant tourist visa past, I has to bring it in from Argieland.
Que será, será.
