Happy Bday Kkmett! Chile on the other hand was lucky. They had the opportunity to go for the jugular when they were up 2-0 and they blew it. They needed the points which they got but they also needed the goal difference. Now they will have a pissed off Spain to deal with and if they play like they did most of the the game agsinst Australia, it won't be pretty. Suerte Chile!

Mixed feelings in our house! Las Chilenas were very nervous about losing/drawing right up to the last goal! Thankfully they aren't gloating too much (yet). The Aussies were certainly not expected to do very well here, but I think most will be pleased that we played better than expected. The next World Cup will be better!

From now on, Go Chile!

I'm happy for Chile. That said, they are vulnerable to high balls and their fullbacks are very shaky. But, I hope they at least tie with Spain and make it out of the group stage.

............ to play Brazil ;)

At least that would be a very exciting match. Hopefully, the referee will be neutral for that game.

Brazil will be embarrassed. It won't win the Cup.

I’m betting on the Germans with their newfangled blitzkrieg soccer style using a Panzer-player division. They just push the opponent players around without technically fouling them.

chile is doing so good, they are not even being talked about as an underdog anymore in the international media.

next up. holland vs. chile.

someone needs to post the videos of the miners and the vedeo the dutch posted in response. i cant get to the links at the moment.
