Thank you. Watching carefully and relieved they called off the tsunami alert. I don't want to speak for all my California brethren here on the forum, but friends and family here in SoCal are still a bit paranoid after experiencing radiation plumes after the last big quake in that region.

Good knowledge base, as usual! You're right - "normal" background radiation, depending upon location/elevation, plays a big part in ongoing readings.
UC Berkeley has been testing air, water, milk, some foods and most radionuclides from the fallout are finally untraceable.
Observations:
Interesting that Florida received much of the same rad amounts at times as the west coast, due to the jet stream.

I've worn a tiny dosimeter since the Japan quake... So far no evidence of dangerous exposure... :lol:

You can get a dosimeter sticker called a rad-sticker for around $10 :!:

No radiation enemas for me. :wink:
