This editorial piece in the pulse, makes a very good and basic point about this new law: it does not address the problem of illegal immigration.

It does not even mention boarder control. It spends a lot of time talking about how people can not be expelded, and very little about how they are stopped from entering in the first place.

Say, when and where the Boo Doo dance will taking place? When I was in DR a long time ago, crossed the border line afoot into el campo Haiti's tiny village.
There, I encountered a shocking ritual taking place.! That lady in white clothing was dancing and moving around. Thought the Zombies only barely moved step by step but this Lady was vigorously shaking and jumping as a Demon had taken over her body! Will I see these ritual taking place elsewhere in Chile soon ?

Well at least voo doo cerimonies are more interesting than the stock standard issue christen religious cerimonies.

Nothing worse than being put to sleep by a religious cermony. Somewhere along the line standard western christen churches forgot a religious cerimony is suppose to be entertaining, beyond whatever other purpose they might serve; and then they wonder why attendance continues to decline.

Post by eeuunikkeiexpat » Tue Sep 05, 2017 1:57 pm

A San Antonio muni school lead's the way:

Ejemplo en cerro Placilla: todos aprenden creole en la escuela
Los alumnos de kinder a octavo básico, profesores y la misma directora de la escuela municipal, desde hace un mes están en campaña de acercarse cada día más a los alumnos haitianos

Chile will someday be the expert outide of Haiti speakers of Haitian creole in the world! Ingles, chino, and especially unix will have to wait.

A view from the other side, an interview with Haitian priest in Chile:
http://www.latercera.com/noticia/jean-w ... -comentan/

Well, been waiting for this other shoe to drop.

Here comes the "immigration association" to ask Bachelet to just give residency to 200,000 illegal immigrants, she let in.
http://www.latercera.com/noticia/solici ... migrantes/

What do you want to bet she sneaks this in before she leaves office.

There was an article recently about how the Syrian refugees are doing. Guess what? They are bitching because they are not doing anything. They were promised jobs, and so on, and mostly do nothing but go to Spanish classes.
