Re: From Coyhaique to Puerto Natales by bus?

Ok, great! If you have additional questions about travel in southern Patagonia, just post here or send PM. Thanks so much for your offer, that could be quite helpful in some further phase of my planning (the actual trip will be in February). If you and your friends might like to meet the Dread Pirat...

Re: From Coyhaique to Puerto Natales by bus?

Thank you so much, Patagoniax for your detailed and quick reply (and the beautiful photo)!!! I will check out the "Erratic Rock" as our Natales "base", because unfortunately I don´t have any "local connections", the friends I am meeting with will travel from Santiago, so this could be a good option....

Re: Rhubarb and/or Gooseberry plants

P.S.: I had no idea what gooseberries were but now that I´ve googled them, I can assure you that they sell them at Jumbo Macul con Grecia (Ñuñoa), although not fresh but in a jar... Still, for jam or cakes it might work!

Re: Rhubarb and/or Gooseberry plants

I´ve never seen rhubarb in Jumbo, what specific Jumbo do they sell it? Susie, if you find rhubarb, please let me know where! It´s the kind of food I never cared too much for while living in Germany, but now for nostalgic reasons I sometimes get rhubarb cravings:)
