Most of the bites of the Rincon spider apparently result in next to no effects. There is something similar here in Australia that also bites people and occasionally produces the necrotic outcome (wrongly thought to be the White Tailed spider). Chile isn't included on the list of eligible countries that you pasted and I also checked the website in case something went amiss in the copying process and no, it's not there either. Why did you think that Chileans were eligible?

Surprisingly similar to the foxes in the north (at Laguna Santa Rosa, on the edge of Parque Nacional Nevado Tres Cruces), right down to the tail markings!

32 degrees C sounds just delightful - almost enough to raise a sweat. 42 degrees C in the shade here in the west of Oz!

I agree with MatthewNZ that the short book by Villalobos is a nice introduction to the history of Chile.
