The mayor of Quilpue has given the go ahead to kilstreet dog

I've been on Twitter for the past week and can't believe they want to kill all the street dogs in Quilpue just because of 1 case of rabies ?!?! I'm so pissed off and feel so helpless because I am not able to converse properly. Can this really happen ? Has anyone else heard anything ? Apparently they...

Re: Chile: country of street dogs

No I'm sure Santiago being a much larger city has a much bigger problem I think this is the first case of rabies in Chile since the late 1960's. Here is a link to the news video it's in Spanish though http://www.24horas.cl/regiones/valparai ... bia-783459

Re: Chile: country of street dogs

I heard today that a postman was bitten here in Quilpue and had contracted rabies. He is very sick in the hospital and they have taken a group of dogs to a house in the hills to be tested. It's in the local newspaper the taxi guy showed me today.

Re: Chile: country of street dogs

A couple of days ago I saw a young dog get terminated under the front wheel of a colectivo. I recall seeing this one previously when it was a younger pup. Very sad but at a minimum it is no longer living in the cold streets. A witness stopped traffic, walked up to it after the involuntary death twi...

Re: Retrieving a dog from Cargo

That was me who flew my 2 Rottweilers from Canada. We had to wait almost 4 hrs and there was a fee to get the dogs released. I think it was around 150.00 don't quote me because the BF paid. They did let me go into the cargo bay to sit with my dogs and give them water but they were very hot and their...

Re: Anyone hearing subterranean sounds?

Maybe about 2 weeks. My older dog has really felt them and jumps every time they start,it's mostly between 11pm and4am but as of the last few days even more so in the mid afternoon. I also felt the same right a couple of weeks before the 2010 earthquake. The animals across the rd at the zoo become m...
