Re: Thanksgiving

Last summer, we found a packet of sage seeds somewhere ... in Jumbo or Easy perhaps??? And the resulting plantitas have become a giant bush over the winter. So it seems to be a fairly resilient plant and clearly grows well even in our pretty chilly microclimate by the river. Nice to have the fresh l...

According to local gossip, Entel intends to repair it by January ... amazing service, wouldn't you agee?! So what we are...

Re: Frequencies for a mobile hotspot

Calling home is not my problem in Chile, Gloria ... its always been about Intenet access! But at least we actually have it now, unlike a few years back. Now our only issue is quantity, quality and at what price! Aaah, luxury problems ....

Re: Frequencies for a mobile hotspot

Frank, thank you so much for this . I have just followed your instructions for the field test and have come up with different data categories altogether .. nothing that resembles the categories that were in your screen shots. So after a long day slaying other dragons in town today, I think I will at...

Re: Frequencies for a mobile hotspot

Frank and Admin, I spent a good deal of yesterday trying to do exactly what you both suggested. With no success. Frank, I have an unlocked iPhone 5 and would be most grateful if you could PM me the method for performing the field test. I am afraid that I would need the Idiots Guide version!!! We rea...

Re: Frequencies for a mobile hotspot

Thank you! Now I need to spend some time in the Entel office - hopefully talking to someone who actually knows the answers to these questions. Not always easy!

Re: Frequencies for a mobile hotspot

So from what I understand of your answer, I would only have access to LTE. Is that likely to be OK or sufficient for my internet needs given that I am relying on one antenna tower out here in the campo?
