Re: Has something changed recently with Amazon?

I've never had anything lost in almost six years here. Some packages took a very long time to arriv...

Re: Argentina Economy, Election, and possible default?

I think he was referring to the IMF loan. Doubt that ver much of that $56b went into the hands of Argie travelors buying TVs in Chile. That was spent on propping up the Argentina peso, or at least most of it so far. Then the Argie tourists would still be coming here to spend their propped up pesos....

Re: Argentina Economy, Election, and possible default?

away. No kidding. They spent 3 billion in Chile only the very first year Macri came to power, after he had lifted currency controls. But the money was actually earned and saved under Cristina. The next three years under Macri we've seen nothing but pain and suffering from Argentina and it only seem...

Re: Argentina Economy, Election, and possible default?

I don't know what the answer is for Argentina's economic issues, but I want Christina back. Or, more precisely, I want those Argie tourists back. During the four Macri years they only came here once. Now they're coming here as immigrants. Whatever her secret, she was better for Chile. You mean........

Whoever runs the time bank can decide who is allowed to join. Like this forum. Each time bank can have rules set by members.
If the exchange is equivalent in value, why would you need a moderator to control who you can exchange your services with?

In Spain, they are very popular: Google these words for an article on the subject: TIME CURRENCY SPAIN CITIES CITY LAB. Does anyone want to start one of these here in Chile? I'm working on getti...

Re: electric vehicles in chile

Yes the Australian Federal Government, with no workable climate change/emissions policy due to a cabel of right wing pro-coal climate change denialists, poured scorn on the idea. Hopefully they´re going to voted out into oblivion next month. The South Australian state government went ahead with it,...
