Re: Smog-Induced Driving Restrictions?

I see that they haven’t updated the “aire santiago” app since the 31st of August. Does this mean the winter driving restrictions are over with? Or is it just standard internet weonismo po?

Re: Source of cheap(er) lisinopril?

So I guess I should ask now... is anyone in Santiago making a border run to Mendoza anytime in the next month?

Re: Source of cheap(er) lisinopril?

Wow what a difference, the generics would at least cut it down to US$20/month. Thanks for the suggestion. I used to just buy it OTC in Uruguay but my trips there have become much less frequent.

Re: Source of cheap(er) lisinopril?

I’ve tried a whole library of anti-hypertensive drugs from NA and SA, and either they don’t work, they shut my kidneys down, or they make me comatose. So far the only thing that works is lisinopril.

Re: Smog-Induced Driving Restrictions?

Hey :) Well they sort of almost fixed the internet after 2 years of complaining, so now I get close to the contracted bandwidth I've been paying for this whole time. Maybe actually liveable. Time will tell. Maybe over the next 2 years they will install fiber here in centro where there is a populatio...

Re: Source of cheap(er) lisinopril?

Source of cheap(er) lisinopril?

I find myself out of my blood pressure medication and the local farmacia has it available in a dose that is half of what I require at $30.000 per month (so I would have to pay $60.000/month or USD$100 for this stuff which normally costs me like USD$8 !?) Is there a better alternative somewhere here?...

Re: Smog-Induced Driving Restrictions?

So I come back to Chile to take care of some stuff and not 24 hours after arrival I am pulled over by a chancho and given a ticket for violating the daily smog lottery. The thing is, looking at how this lottery works, sello verde cars are “immune” from it, and since my car is sello verde, in theory ...

Re: So long, Chile.

So I guess the moral of the story is to find out vetted banda ancha info before purchasing? I did. It worked. Fine. For years. Or maybe, don't buy if there is no competition at your address (Movistar and VTR)? I checked. All offered something. Movistar offered the best. Now the rest offer nothing. ...

So long, Chile.

Well, I don't know how else to try and fix the problems I've been having. I rely on the internet to do what I do and be a productive member of society. For the past several months, the internet situation here has deteriorated to a point where it's 99% unusable. No amount of going in to complain abou...

Re: Chile Economy Check 2016

interesting. Seems Uruguay, which if there was a competitor to Chile in South America terms of stability Uruguay would be it, is also loosing control of its inflation. Bwahaha! Uruguay appears "stable" to the economic morons of the world because it has been stuck in a self-imposed recession for dec...
