Re: problem with Banco Estado's online banking

I made a deposit, 2 rent payments, and an internet payment today. I think the website is showing the correct balance, or at least it's close. But the transaction info is all wrong. I'm guessing it's just a bug in the code that reports the latest transaction info. Is anyone else seeing problems like ...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

I don't know if there's an antibody test yet, that's specific for covid-19 Yes, there are, but in Europe there are none that are 100% reliable, 80% at best, so none being adopted as yet. Meanwhile the ones advertised on ebay have recently been withdrawn. Thanks, I need to look into how they determi...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

I did a quick search in this thread, and found some discussion about the PCR test being used to determine the number of covid-19 cases. So if that's true, all the case numbers are useless. I'm still wondering, what do they base a covid-19 diagnosis on? A PCR test can only detect something, but it ca...

How does the govt determine who has covid-19 in Chile, and who died of it? Do they rely on the PCR test? Do they decide, based on flu-like symptoms?
where have you been for the last three months?
I haven't read much of this thread, if that's what you mean

No, but after 3 months the card would no longer be valid.
So then you need to get another one, or do they "promise" the whole card thing will go away?

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

Coup against Jaime. Senators want him out, no confidence Jaime should be thankful he is only facing losing his role and not criminal charges for dereliction of duty Now it's up to Pinera to either double down on jaime or oust him. I will be thrilled to see him go. Heck even Bachelet is criticizing ...

Re: problem with Banco Estado's online banking

I was looking over my transfer history a couple days ago, through the Banco Estado website, and one of them had the wrong name listed as the recipient. The email I got when I did the transfer had the correct name. But the name showing through the website now, is someone I never heard of. Has anyone...

Re: is there something in the water?

So I tried searching for "something in the water covid", but all I get is stuff about a "something in the water festival" that's apparently an annual thing that started maybe last year. Now if I were a conspiracy theorist, I might read something into that:)

Re: is there something in the water?

I will start to pay more attention. Now that I think about it, my dishwashing the past day or two seems to be easier needing less detergent and scrubbing... Yup, same thing. I always wash olive oil off a dish, with just water and my hands. I've been doing that for years. And that just started getti...

Re: is there something in the water?

I would not be surprised if they are putting more chlorine or its derivatives in the water. I know you live further north near the coast and I'm sure like the water here on the south V Region coast, it is usually heavily chlorinated. That's what I thought at first, but it didn't smell like too much...
