Re: US Citizen Having Baby, Can The Baby Have 1 Last Name in Chile?

Thanks But why not use 2 surnames? As Charles, I always have problems with databases. Normally I use ...

Re: Foreign credit cards no longer work?
On a sidenote; even before the masks, chilean cashiers had problems hearing whether a foreigner says credito or debito. With a mask on, that is now even worse...

Re: 6500 USD net a month
I would disagree. 4.5 million should be fine for a decent lifestyle in Las Condes. 3 bedroom apartment, 1 car. Not a problem.

Re: Chilean border's to open to tourist, none-residents
Saw this list in EMOL, but have not been able to find it on an official page nor on WHO: https://www.emol.com/noticias/Internacional/2020/11/23/1004654/Paises-en-alto-riesgo-OMS.html The link to the WHO page was in one of the pages already mentioned by susiedillon: This is the best(???) information...

Russia, Italy, Germany are "low risk", whereas for example Finland and Iceland are high risk?...

Re: ESFERITAP on Mercado Libre
Don't know the vendor, but Mercado Libre is secure for online purchases. I have purchased countless items (50-100 from a wide range of vendors) on Mercado Libre - Whenever I have had a problem, they have returned the money. If it is a professional vendor (ie not a private person) and they have decen...

Re: The Vote to Write a New Constution for Chile
I thought this was a pretty decent article on the 7 main points of either side for the election on Sunday (probably with a slight apruebo bias, but still fairly neutral) https://www.biobiochile.cl/noticias/sociedad/debate/2020/10/22/las-7-razones-mas-citadas-para-votar-apruebo-o-rechazo-y-el-unico-p...
