These schools have been raking cash in for years and will continue to do so. They should easily be able to provide real discounts like 50% or more. Yes, that might...

Sensible Sweden https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/120805778/coronavirus-to-swedes-its-the-rest-of-the-world-engaging-in-a-reckless-experiment Time will indeed tell. Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

Banmedica just sent me an email saying that COVID-19 test will be provided free of charge at my preferred clinic. For anyone that wants one? Say you had no symptoms and no reason to think you might have it... don't know, but I assume your doctor has to indicate you actually need a COVID-19 test.

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

I seen an interesting opinion piece in the paper, about development and the virus. got me thinking. essentially, this is the time we find out which countries really are developed, and which ones are just pretending. my friend in peru is saying the numbers are not remotely accurate, because they are...

342 cases, 103 new. but they screwed with reporting time, so is that 36 hours? 12 hours?

half the frigen news channels were talking about other crap and not even covering the press briefing.
I understood it as new cases in the 24 hour period from Tuesday 21.00 to Wed 21.00.

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

I am seeing a lot of random reports of confirmed cases around the country in the last 24 hours or so. I get the impression the next official count later today will be a big jump. https://www.biobiochile.cl/noticias/nacional/region-de-los-lagos/2020/03/17/seremi-de-salud-de-los-lagos-confirma-primer...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

The other question here is now that tourists have been excluded, as well as most business travellers, how full will the flights be? Will the airlines cancel them? They will be making a loss running flights at 10%-20% full. They might lose less money by cancelling the flights and providing a refund,...

Re: Market crash! We have another Black Monday

I think that is highly optimistic and way too rational in this situation. What will happen when companies start to fire people and report losses or bankruptcy?
