Re: Corona Virus!

However the scariest thing from that case was not the coronavirus. It was the admission that there average pilot age was over 60 years old.

I don't find that scary, it means they actually learned how to fly on real planes and not just computer simulations.

Re: macal auction January 28th, 2020 11 a.m.

And I was worried that with the riots it might even be worth much less.
What is going on with the market there?

Re: Marriage Certificate

But they didn't translate and the Registro says they need it in Spanish. Is it correct that you need to take the authenticated legalized docu...

Re: appointments at Registro Civil to renew ID

Totally depends on where you are. My wife went in to registro civil in Concepcion on Oct 11 to renew carnet with no appointment, took a number and was served two minutes later. Five minutes and a few thousand pesos later they said it would be ready in 3 weeks and would be posted on the website when ...

Re: The Economic Impact of the Social Crisis

"Part of the reason for the tourism numbers not dropping off much so far is because a lot of them will have booked flights and hotels before this started. So part of their calculation in "shall we still go to Chile?" involves thinking about whether they want to lose a big chunk of money and have to ...

Re: ACTIVE CRISIS ZONES

....more like a slow motion feeling sad for a sometimes wonderful country now a disaster.... You managed to put in to words exactly what I have been feeling. 4 of the last 10 days I have been unable to get to my place of work due to cuts on Hwy 160. Again today. If its not burning tires now its a tr...

Arriving Santiago airport at 6 pm today, renting a car and need to get to Providencia/Manuel Montt area.

Anything in particular brewing that I need to look out for?

Haven't been to Santiago since May, don't miss it at all.

Re: Shipments into Chile since the protests

I was expecting one shipment approx every week from overseas since Oct 18, but instead i got 4 packages all of them yesterday.
