In a conversation with friends, they brought up this law and they were deeply worried about it. Does anybody know anything about it, concerns?

Copper up, USD down.
The Dollar has taken a very steep downturn starting the end of Nov and is still in a current freefall. I attribute it to the price of copper, since the Chinese it seem to be on buying spree again and to the current turmoil with U.S. politics. Any other causes?

Re: Looking for Family Member
May I make a suggestion. Have you tried doing a DNA thru Ancestry or other of those services? After you get your results, they provide you with possible genealogical relatives who may have done the test and you may able to go from there. Good luck!

Re: none-chilean registered phones to be blocked in 2019
I just verified this yesterday with my iPhone. You need to dial *#06# in which a 15 digit number should pop up. Go to your provider's (in my case Entel) and search for IMEI. Once you are there, enter that 15 digit number and it will tell you whether it is registered or not, mine was. You have until ...

Based on the composition of the country of origin of the judges in the Hague, I would not be surprised if they rule against Chile. My dos centavos.

Movistar too. However, the best thing to do is to ask your relatives what coverage works in their area and go with that. For instance, where I live, Entel is the best, Movistar also has an ok signal and Claro not at all.

Has anyone here used Viabox to ship from U.S. to Chile?
Living here in the south of Chile, I tend to use a lot of outdoor equipment and clothing in the winter. Unfortunately, some of these manufacturers either do not ship to Chile or have distribution agreements with a company here in Chile that prevents the item to be shipped to Chile. I was looking at ...

Re: Putting a fence
Rob - I live on the other side of Pangui, towards Los Tallos. I had one guy help me and he lived about a km away. Don't worry about finding someone, like I said, most of these guys grew up on the campo and know how to put up fences but many do not have vehicles so its best it is near your property. ...

Re: Putting a fence
Hi Rob - I live in in the campo close to Pangui so I will try to help you. Attached is a photo of my fence which I put up in 2010. The wood used is pellin which is very rot resistant but difficult to find now and very expensive if you do find it. Most fencepost now are either hualle (which will need...

Re: International shipping unreliable
I order things periodically from Amazon and they normally ship via DHL and other than a few hiccups with Aduana, I rarely have had any problems. However, my most recent order was shipped Landmark Global. What a nightmare. Because this carrier is partially owned by Belgian Post, my shipment went from...
