Re: Is Embalse el Yeso open?

As far as i know all parks and camping areas are still closed. And yet malls can open?, no wonder people think the whole thing is a farce when "protocols" are compromised by money, what justifiable reasons are there for having hiking trails and outdoor parks closed?. Sun (Vitamin D3), air and open ...

Re: 'paso a paso" rules for traveling between comunas... and related stuff

We are in phase 2 and given it is a feriado and the existence of the only for three days one-time Fiestas Patrias permiso, I printed that one out for my wife to take the nieto to the play ground in Plaza Llolleo. Not many persons there but when a PDI vehicle was spotted coming everyone else took off...

Re: 'paso a paso" rules for traveling between comunas... and related stuff

After hearing the conduct of SEREMI de SALUD officials at the San Antonio cordon, I am not surprised they tried pushing their "aurhority" screw the law screw the Constitution. Tyranny by medical tecnocracy.

Re: Chile Declares State of Emergency for 90 days

This needs more clarification date wise as the previous ended on the 13th at midnight, but then was extended "through" (I believe vs. "to") the 25th (so the 25th at midnight). So is this a 90 day extension from the 13th or the 25th while the article references the 15th??? but given the frequent inac...

Re: The Chile Economy, Social Crisis and Virus Impact

I tried to count the line to enter the only HIPER LIDER in Valpo, last Saturday, around 13:30, and there was 267 people in line. This works very well: https://www.lider.cl/agenda/ Of course, I do use it. Showing the door guard the screenshot works perfectly, 5 seconds delay. No one else seems to us...

I tried to count the line to enter the only HIPER LIDER in Valpo, last Saturday, around 13:30, and there was 267 people in line. This works very well: https://www.lider.cl/agenda/ Usually not necessary if one arrives about 3 pm and we are in Paso 2 but the main limiting factor in crowds is San Anto...

Re: The Chile Economy, Social Crisis and Virus Impact

As said before. nothing changes or perhaps not an exact repeat but history rhymes: Antifa and allied commie types are highly ideologically motivated and I expect to see US learned tactics applied here just as they applied Chile learned tactics in the recent Empire disorders. Given the NGOs (cover fo...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

The Vitamin D3 story holds true for all flu viruses and it is a better preventive than the annual flu virus vaccine can ever hope to be. So what have the authorities been recommending, total lockdown with the resulting loss of exposure to the sun. Quarantine is making people more susceptible to the ...
