Re: Chile in top three for...

Dude, you don't need to create a topic whenever you want to ask a question. Consolidate them all on a single post, don't spam. Actually, I was ready to start deleting posts when I saw the amount of threads kicked to the top by the same poster. Initially looked like a Friday night spam attack :P But...

Re: Chile in top three for...

Chileans are only really productive when it is in their direct personal interest, other than that, the average worker sees work as a traditional place to socialize and thus the long hours with low productivity.

Re: Finally a compelling reason to visit...

Dude, just shutup and visit despite the claims you are poor which we believe is not true.

Only by visiting can one even begin to get a handle on if this place is even semi-right for them. I recommend two long-term visits, one in the summer and one in the winter.

Re: Are yu happy with capital controls and cash limits in Chile?

You can do whatever you want to bring in cash ATM or walking into the country over time wise, but the moment you officially "invest" in something including a simple bank CD, the questions and evidence of origin of funds will arise at probably the thresholds posted by mem.

Re: The new constitutional vote and the social crisis

This is all leading to a fiasco. A police force hated by the protesters whether by convoluted reasoning or media manipulation, an inept government of all three branches for different reasons, and the silent majority that would not mind rational change without idiotic violence and destruction. I'm af...

Re: Kimchi: ASi o ASSI or ARI Market in Santiago?

Those directions are from 2017 and I did not find this place from the photos and Google map locations. But in relation to the China House supermarket, across the street there is a K mart small supermarket place and then further past in the high 200ish address zone the ARI Market (blue storefront) wh...

Re: Kimchi: ASi o ASSI or ARI Market in Santiago?

I didn't measure the weight before I started enjoying but it may be 850 grams + at a price of 10.000 pesos.

This place also sells canned (I did not check origin) and bottled from Taiwan (so not Korean) kimchi.

Re: Kimchi: ASi o ASSI or ARI Market in Santiago?

Refrigerated section, storefront colored blue, kind off across the street from the China House supermarket (their competition in packaged imported Asian foods) on calle Antonia López de Bello in the Recoleta sector of Santiasco, I mean Santiago...
