Re: No zinc roofing in stores?

The national stock ended up being used for door and window protection rather than roofing.
Zinc and sheet steel protections are still being fitted.

Re: Construction regulations for restaurants

If you're serious about this idea, you should be aware of the following considerations: You need this for starters. Google is your friend: . requisitos sanitarios restauran - Google Search.png . And other stuff.... This should actually be an architectural project complete with numerous opportunities...

I really wonder what it takes to be banned from entering
Mike Tyson was denied entry in 2017 for his criminal record.

Re: Growing loss of services / access from some US banks

Not just the US. Barclays recently blocked online access to my UK account. The credentials that had worked since 2010 just didn't any more. After spending a lot on several fruitless international phone calls to their "help" line, I ended up posting a letter to my branch manager as I have no intentio...

Re: Argentina leading by example

Oh dear. They are doing this because their economy is afu as usual, and nobody will loan them any more money because they are welshers, mala paga if you want. Pathetic populism from a bunch of crooks. Wonder how much of that hypothetical USD $3Bn will make it to the health service...There has been s...

Re: Setting up a (non-RUT) bank account

The company wouldn't pay into a UK account or by cash, so it sounds like my best bet is going to be to do the rounds of all the banks and hope that I catch someone on a good day who sympathises with me. I'll let you know how I get on. How, then do they propose to pay you? Have they sent you a Chile...

So, these are Transbank machines. Not webpay.
Webpay is Transbank's online purchasing/payment service.

Re: Urban to rural migration trends in Chile

Exurbs are a growing trend worldwide. The curious thing about this phenomenon is that many of the dwellers of these far-flung places seek quiet and nature. They do not wish to live in the hustle and bustle of the city, the noisy, dangerous, populated city. Yet the transformation of nature they brin...

Re: Second AFP withdrawal

Pamela Jiles positioning herself for president candidate next year, which would be 'game over', most likely for the country, economicly speaking, if she were to become president next year. A country gets the leaders they deserve, isn't that the saying? And it will serve Chileans right for wilfully ...

Re: Second AFP withdrawal

CAPREDENA and DIPRECA are the armed forces pensions systems. Widely abused in the past. For example, pensions are based on final salary, so senior officials are often promoted just prior to retirement. They may be transferred during their final months of service to a remote area in order to claim "h...

Re: Second AFP withdrawal

.. I just wish people (citizens, politicians etc) would either tell the full story or self reflect on their own behavior, and be honest with themselves a bit more rather than blame and get angry and emotional. I guess thats a bit much to ask 18 million times. Anger and simplistic arguments are what...

Re: Building "regularization"

Also a friend spoke of some law that comes around every 4 years or so.. He called it "monkey law" 🤣🤣🤣 and that supposedly allows you to then register buildings that were unregistered? Ley del Mono Why Ley del Mono ? Para explicar el origen del sobrenombre, es preciso indicar que en Chile, “hacer un...
