Re: Another Quick Question! US Embassy Test for a Job!

I have personally dealt with the Australian embassy (they were wonderful and super efficient each time. They helped me with my ID kit to get my Aussie driver license renewed. I´m only a resident, but they treated me like a citizen. I arrived with no appointment and was helped and out of there within...

Re: Who has the best hamburgers near Santiago?

There is an El Corral in Portal La Dehesa (next to Emporia la Rosa, which is next to Falabella on the top floor) too. It replaced El Otro Sitio.

Sriracha sauce

Now available at Organisk. I bough 740 ml (28oz) bottle or sriracha sauce for just under 7k. I recall a while ago someone was asking if you can get this in Santiago and this was the first time I saw it.

They also had sambal oelek, sambal manis and ketjap manis.

If you can do a side trip to Huilo Huilo, I highly recommend this if you are into hiking and other outdoor activities.

Re: Fresh Milk

I would buy fresh cream and sour cream if it was available and of course some good local cheddar. Sour cream!!! Don't remind me! Another thing I can't bring back with me next time I visit the U.S. but wish I could. It really seems like there should be a foreigners' market that sells this sort of st...

Re: Fresh Milk

I would have no problem with the glass bottles and since most people have a nana, it would be their problem anyway, right? I kind of like the idea of the "olde" glass bottle exchange!
