Re: cranberry juice

I saw more cranberry juice today at the Portal Mall in Temuco. It was a 16 oz bottle of unsweetened cranberry concentrate. The brand is called Dynamic Health. I forget the name of the store, but it was on the third floor near the money exchange. They sell a lot of whey products, etc. http://dynamich...

I found the name of the Peruvian juice. It is L'Onda. Apple or cranberry. Unsweetened.
They have that brand at Jumbo here in Temuco and I get it from time to time. While their Apple Juice is unsweetened, their Cranberry Juice is not.

Re: cranberry juice

Here in the Temuco area I have seen in Lider, the Lider branded Cranberry Juice which doesn't include sugar. I have also seen the Ocean Spary cranberry juice coctail which does include sugar. I have seen in a little grocery/vegtable store called El Huerto, Cranberry concentrate. The brand is BerryVi...

Re: ATM fee

I guess one difference is that you have a US Mastercard which is on the CIRRUS network. My card is a US VISA on the PLUS network (and Co-Op network).

Yes my friends's US card is on the Plus System and also VISA.

Re: ATM fee

Bice is still charging me 2500 with a limit of 200.000 per transaction. ScotiaBank is still charging me 3500 with a limit of 200.000 per transaction. I haven't tried Banco Estado in a while. They were charging 4000 per transaction but it was possible to withdraw 400.000 in one transaction. But they ...

Re: Movistar Prepago Sim

I think that is probably similar for the prepago sim cards from Claro and Entel. I have an old N.okia phone that I misplaced while moving to the house here. It had been lost for over a year when I found it last week. After putting a small charge on it, I was able to turn it on, but the chip was deac...

Re: Professional house hygeine/mold inspector?

... got sick from a visit to a particularly bad one once. ... That was like almost 10 years ago she got sick from going to that one house. Pretty scary stuff. Those Socavesa houses in that neighborhood where you last lived in Temuco, they have some mold issues too. Water wicks up the walls I heard.

Went to a Popeyes in Santiago the other day. They didn't have a number of sides like you can get in the US. Especially beans & rice. :(

Re: Any good electronic parts stores in Santiago?

Ricky-san, how could you have been suckered so easily? Didn't you have your glasses on? :) But that is a common tactic of having a close sounding name and it fools people. But there are a lot of clone Hakko soldering stations out there. From a first glance they look like the real deal. The stickers ...

Re: Any good electronic parts stores in Santiago?

I know this is an old thread, but since I am the op, hey I can put some life back into it. I never got a Hakko FX-888, but I did get their FX-888D (220v). The updated one with the digital readout. I ended up getting it from an authorized Hakko dealer in the UK. Was pretty expensive after all was sai...

Freight Forwarders for purchases in the US

Not sure if we have had a thread related to this topic before, at least I didn't find one after doing some searching. But what freight forwarders have you used to send items to Chile. I am not talking about FFs that will ship a container for you. I think we have covered that in another thread somewh...
