There is no Jansen being shipped to chile at this time.
So you're saying that they (the ISP) approved it just for kicks?

I read that it should arrive next month.

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

Canada has a quarantine system that makes it very complicated/expensive to get back in and the vaccine passport they are coming out with does not consider the Sinovac vaccine. It looks unlikely that it will at any time. From what I have read there is no known contra-indication to take Pfizer 3 mont...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

I wonder what they're going to do with all the AZ doses that they already purchased. Sobre este último punto dio a conocer que se resolvió que se continuará con la inoculación de Astrazeneca para hombres mayores de 45 años con primeras y segundas dosis Source: http://www.lanacion.cl/hombres-menores...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

They just announced that anyone under 45 that received AstraZeneca, will be given pfizer to complete their vaccination. which to stupid as shit, because they knew AstraZeneca was a problem when they received the shipment; but they went ahead with it anyway. No thanks. I would rather complete mine w...

Re: The New Constitution

Shows that when people go "o shit!" they turn out in a greater number and make the difference. I don't know if that's the conclusion I would infer from the results......it's more like enough people from certain areas stayed home and that was sufficient to change the outcome in the RM. I'm still not...

Re: The New Constitution

I'm surprised no one has made any commentary here yet about yesterday's run off elections. Then again, there is technically not an appropriate thread (this is the closest recent subject in my humble opinion) and it was for "governors", whose job function is not 100% clearly defined yet from what I u...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

Johnson & Johnson vaccine approved for Chile. My wife and I have searched high and low here in the 5th Region for Pfizer with no luck. Hopefully J&J will be more readily available. https://www.biobiochile.cl/noticias/nacional/chile/2021/06/10/isp-aprueba-uso-de-vacuna-janssen-contra-covid-19-en-chi...

Re: The Chile Economy, Social Crisis and Virus Impact

so, looks like last week about 903,000 people got their first dose.

https://www.emol.com/noticias/Nacional/ ... lidad.html
And the percentage of those doses that is NOT Sinovac is much higher than back in February or March.

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

I look at the DEIS site so I'm not sure what you mean when you say that they haven't reported any new vaccinations for the past few days. Speaking of which, according to their site, they've been pumping out Pfizer more than ever the past week or two, and Astrazeneca also is increasing its share of t...
