Otherwise, be ready to go to court to try and get your money back if something goes wrong. Which should only take somewhere between years, and...

Re: WARNING: Department of Immigration online web site

If you're in a real hurry, go to the FBI's website and look for a "channeler" near you. The turnaround f...

Re: The Chile Economy, Social Crisis and Virus Impact

In country air freight might help the airlines but Out Of Country air freight has gone very strange lately. DHL now requires a "VAT license" for even very small personal shipments. So what's up? Re: TransferWise Charging 3%-4% Now

I dont know who you bank with outside, but I transfer US$ from HSBC to a US$ account I have with BCI and they charge US$75 if I remember correctly. Then no charges when the funds are received in Chile. Then I can change US$ to CLP whenever I want in BCI. Maybe I’m over-cautious, but have been aroun...

Re: coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chile

I would recommend listening to the guys with the guns at the airport, that are in charge of turning you around and sending you back from where you came from vs. an airline lobbying organization. Who also enjoy power games like the mujer PDI official who gave me a hard time because my carnet was rec...

Outside of a 401k that is totally invested in a Vanguard vehicle for retirement in like 25 years, I don't have investments and haven't ever done it before. I have done some reading but never dipped my toe in. I also don't have tons of funds. I have around 20k in a "high yield savings account" that ...

Re: America on Fire

What is strange to me is that it was just a few days ago it was all the anti-mask antilockdown protesters. Now that seems to have been suddenly and entirely replaced with this race/police protests. Maybe this is the transition event from cv to the next set of 24 hour news cycle fires. Not that the ...
