Re: Housing market situation

There appears to be a flooding of cheap credit and banks appear to be “throwing “ money at the masses. In fact the hardest part of getting a loan seems to be the inexplainable wait time at every bank branch. I recently argued about this with my friend and then checked the OECD stats . Chile seems t...

Re: Where can I find all year Sunniest and Warmest area in Chile.

Besides iqique antofagasta and arica what other habitable cities are up there? Antofagasta is known for deadly floods but yearly sunshine is high. Where are the stats for other locations up north? Arica isn't as sunny as people think according to the stats, even though it gets a few mms of rain tha...

Joke explanation for newcomers to Chile: the pope is Argentinian, thousands of Argentinians come every weekend to buy stuff in Chilean malls because everything is overpriced in Argentina.

Want to visit a Chilean location that's warm and sunny all year round summer or winter. Somewhere with low humidity and not cold at night in winter. Thanks
Villa Alemana but it's very suburb-y, think New Jersey. Almost no rain and low humidity but tons of dust.

Re: New Member Here

Exactly this. People are going to call you fat, black, ret...

Re: The World Bank manipulated Chile's competitiveness rankings

Yes, it's entertaining here because of the size of the country and companies. The connection between events and fluctuation is more direct than in case of the US or global markets.

Where? He offers a description of 'salario promedio, but it does not show the source of the data. 'Salario promedio' would translate as 'Average salary', not 'Median salary'. I gave you a link to the author's reply about the source right in the quoted message. And yes, I translated "promedio" incor...

And since he does not say where he got his data, his graph is rather meaningless.
It's right in his next reply.

I checked 17-56 and I couldn't find. Are the Median salary numbers per person or per household?
Per person, he occasionally posts these charts on Reddit.
