Re: transfer money from israel to chile?

My feeling is you're not explaining yourself properly or the bank employee you're talking to is out of touch. You can certainly do it and pay only whatever it costs to send the money from Israel. You need to speak with someone at their investment branch called Banchile. It might be useful to find a...

Re: chile's migration crisis

According to the article, 24 housing subsidies is the total number ever issued to Venezuelans so far. I find it hard to match with their visa numbers - they obviously didn't just start coming in 2010. And, yeah, it would be nice to compare with take up among the natives, but I've got no such data. E...

Re: chile's migration crisis

Interestingly, despite 288,000 Venezuelans in Chile, they got only 24 housing subsidies over the last three years. https://www.latercera.com/nacional/noticia/perfil-del-venezolano-chile/531365/?fbclid=IwAR0RBKfnx51nDRV8cheeQmYGBeLwlIu6ekkkcIcD7z-H-zajU8X44TX1sWw You may find that interesting but:Sc...

Re: Venezuela crisis

The Venezuelan pretty boy was elected under the same system as Maduro. To say that one is rotten and the other smells good is a bit of a stretch, to say the least :) I said that the Maduro government is rotten, nothing more. Don't invent stuff, try reading what you are quoting first. I also think y...

Yesterday, Venezuelan vice-president Delcy Rodríguez warned that the humanitarian food aid being stockpiled in Colombia was poisoned and causes cancer. https://www.elcomercio.com/actualidad/delcy-rodriguez-ayuda-humanitaria-cancer.html And today, the Italian press filtered the Pope´s response to Ma...

Re: Venezuela crisis

The money is secondary, especially since the Venezuelan pretty boy promised to pay it back to both China and Russia if he comes to power. What Russia stands to loose is the reputation of being able to protect a country from US military aggression. I don't think it'll come to that - there'll be no i...

Re: verifying a landlord or property manager

..."ask the notary where it was signed for an orginal copy." Because a contract is not a public domain, I doubt very much any notary would allow a plain stranger to get a copy. It's a copy of the POW, not the contract. The last few times I signed a rental contract at a notary, they told me straight...
