Metals are a hedge against inflation, bank failure, negative interest rates, etc. Prices of precious metals are long term stable, making them an excellent store of value. It is clear that manufacturing of any type of car is a small proportion of total lifetime CO2, the majority is in driving. Wrong. The figures are comparable.
