Re: Tenants disappeared during the night
What if you make the tenant name a guarantor on the contract? Can you go after that person if the tenant does a runner? It might make them think twice about running if they have named a family member.

Re: Export Pet Vet
Why wouldn't there be such an animal? Has no Chilean vet ever prepped an animal for export? I want to send my dog back to Australia. Most Vets we've spoken to have no idea what is involved and have never done it. I would rather use a vet that has experience in this particular area.

Export Pet Vet
I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend a vet in Santiago that specialises in exporting pets, in this case a dog? Or one that has at least done it before. Not looking for a company that charges ridiculous fees to book a vet appointment.

Many thanks.

Re: First Chilean job offer
It really depends on your lifestyle. 1.2 million will get you by. You can rent a unit in Nunoa or Providencia for 500ish if you look around. Don't worry to much about living next door to gringos, there are lots of gringo places to go and things to do. Sounds like you're an Aussie or a Kiwi, plenty o...

Re: Can a Chilean (non-resident) use a foreign driving licence in Chile?
No matter what the law says I think it really depends on who pulls you up. My Australian Chilean wife has never had a Chilean license, she has been stopped many times with just her QLD license. Never any issues, even without the international.

Re: Where in Santiago was this scene shot?
The original pic has at least 1200mm to the left of the door, new pic does not. The original pic has a doorway of at least a meter wide, new pic lucky to be 900mm. Doorstep in original pic is 2 steps for a total of about 300mm off the footpath, new pics is about an inch.
