iHerb's new shipping options

Postby katml412 » Tue Jan 03, 2017 1:08 pm

Has anyone placed an order to Chile from iHerb since they removed the USPS airmail option? I noticed they switched to DHL global mail. I'm just trying to decide if it's worth ordering from them again, with the new changes.

We switched to http://www.vitacost.com/

It's still more expensive than iHerb's AirMail but not as expensive as DHL.

Oh dear. Will ask my wife (she must be one of their best customers). Thanks for the alternative link.

Which shipping option do you use on Vitacost, and about how much do you end up spending on shipping? (If you don't mind me asking)

I used Vitacost all the time when we lived in the States. Their generic options are really good, and I like their specials. We only switched to iHerb after moving here because of shipping prices.

I just contacted iHerb customer service to ask about why the airmail option is gone. They gave me some kind of answer about it being under review, so it may come back at some point. I'm not holding my breath for it.

I don't remember the option name but it costs ~US$12 for 1.8kg. Vitacost's prices are also lower than iHerb.

How soon did your package arrive? Ordering from iHerb took about 2 months through the airmail option.

Same, everything by Correos took 6 to 8 weeks be it US, Europe or China.
