if you really have to have a Chilean IP, here is how I would do it.

Park your server in a data center in the states (or get vps, web hosting package).

Get a home connection, add a linux box or router at least that you have control over.

Buy a third-party dns service able to deal with a dynamic ip, and failover, point your .cl or whatever domains at that.

Proxy (port forward) your server through the local isp connection.

If the connection in chile goes down for any reason, the domain switches to the state side server.

I would be surprised if that setup cost $100 the first month.

Hi Admin,

thanks for that info...

ALL I would need is a PC with dynamic IP as I need to run a webbrowser on it for sportsbetting with Chilean Identity...

www.logmein.com
its free, gives you remote control, and doesnt care if your computer changes ip address as the client will keep registering back to their server, we have it installed on over 100 computers and works perfect

Dear Admin,

www.teamviewer.com is the same thing as www.logmein.com (used by me quite often very reliably!)

Just not 100% sure about how to realize it technically as mentioned by you 3 posts ago:

1. VPS - I will lease one in US (or whereever in the world) - OR - Why not just using my home-PC instead????
2. Use a proxy-connection via a dyndns in the browser of VPS/PC for pointing to the real DYNAMIC Public-IP from the Internet-Router in my friend's home in Chile

Until here all fine from my side :)

3. But how can I tell the router in Chile to accept that incoming request from my VPS/PC and expopse HIS IP further forward to the sportsbook-provider???

Thanks again!
