Hi Everyone:

I've done some Google Earth surfing and doing some reading on these areas - regions 6 and north 7 -- Lake Vichuquen, Lolol Valley, Santa Cruz, Zuniga, and San Vincente/Lake Beach.

Has anyone had any experiences in these areas for visiting or living? I'd be interested in opinions. Lake Vichuquen looks beautiful but hard to tell if it's worth seriously considering as part of my list to check out.

Many thanks.

We currently have several clients in the Santa Cruz / Pichilemu area that we are handling.

The two together are more or less like California. Pichilemu is a beach surfer town, and Santa Cruz is actively trying to take on the California wine country with wine tours, trains and so on.

Prices in Santa Cruz are very high. Better to look outside town. Pichilemu is not bad. There are some good deals still near the beach.

Thank you for your reply.

I want to stay away from the "tourists"! I'll take your advice to look outside those areas. I'm wondering though, would it be a place worth checking out or by pass it all together.

I'm also looking into other suggestions made by people which look promising too.
