Hi, i am visiting my girlfriend in Sept . She lives near Valdiva in the lake district. My question is this: Will a standard European two pin adapter work? i thought i would be OK buying this for my Notebook, Kindle iPod etc, however she sent me a photo of her home sockets and they have 3 vertical holes. for the life of me i cannot find any UK adapters that would take this. So can i just use the EU 2 prong and forget about the grounded middle prong? I know this sounds a bit long winded but i would really like to use my gadgets over in Chile.

Thanks, i appreciate you answering my question so promptly. I will go and buy a European two pin adapter and hopefully that should suffice.
