Weird dog combinations

Postby StrawberryHeartsForever » Wed Feb 08, 2012 11:48 am

We all know by now the huge problem with strange dogs in Chile by now, but the other day, I saw the most strangest of creatures. The poor dog had the head of a whippet and the body of a fat labrador  Anyone care to discuss bizarre cross breeds?

I saw a cross between a purebred Bassett and a purebred German shepherd
He was very strange looking yet adorable.
Very calm and sweet disposition.

He was hanging around a square near our apartment and I was ready to adopt him but found he had an owner of some sort.

Anybody know of any weird chemical combinations that might help to keep weird dog combinations at least 100 metres from my gate? The weird dog combinations have been leaving some weird fecal combinations and I am sorely tempted to use the top barrel of the weird calibre combination over/under but I am willing to consider some weird chemical combinations first, maybe a bit of powdered sodium hydroxide or something? Weird combinations of cayenne pepper are just too expensive to treat the area. Anyone?

The way we do it here in Van to combat wierd raccoon breeds is ; some rat poison coupled with some antifreeze concoction. Just antifreeze will do fine as well. Cheap for the land owner, slow and painful for the perpetrators.

Wishing a slow and painful death on any animal is disgusting. While I think that euthanasia is probably a necessary evil for dealing with Chile's stray population, I would hope that people would support doing it as humanely as possible.

My chilean mestizo has the long body and black and tan colouring of a daschund, the floppy ears and curly coat of a cocker, and the face of a german shephard. Believe it or not, he's actually pretty cute (and certainly irreplaceable). Unfortunately for him, he'll always be one of a kind since he was snipped at an early age!

could you rig it so a dog whistle sounded nearby? I thought about getting one for when I'm on by bike, but the truth is, they come up out of nowhere, and they don't work against car doors, anyway, which are my more recent problem.

I saw a dog with the head and ears of German Shepard and a weiner dog body, maybe a dachsund?. It was funny and sad at the same time.

Ha! I wonder if I could set one on my handlebars so it shrieks (inaudibly to me) all the time. Or maybe I could hire a maestro to ride alongside me at all times and carry a large stick. Hope he likes rollerblading, as well. I figure the stick will work on car doors, too!

Hope you find your magic dog repellent. I find living high in the sky keeps them out of my living space.

Px,

As you've alluded to, the best chemical repellent for stray/problem dogs is a small dose of lead, administered to the central processing unit. However you look at it, chemistry or physics, the result is the same...

The better solution is, of course, the application of a small and sharp piece of surgical steel to the testicles of said dogs. Longer term but more humane...

But you knew that already.

No need for chemicals, get a self portrait and hang it to the main door! CASE SOLVED!
