Hooo-boy, it's gonna be fun explaining who and what Jeff Cooper was to some of the more sensitive souls on this site.

Permutation of Colt quote I heard: "God made man and woman, Colonel Colt made them equal". Which means that modern feminists are of course largely anti-gun, go figure, some equalizers are apparantly not desired.

What? You have "modern feminists" in Chile?

Since I am just now beginning to consider my first visit to Chile, I have not made the acquaintance of the women there. However, once upon a time back in the USA I was married to one of that type to which you refer.

In those days, I became interested in IPSC competition and read Cooper as a resource. The ex didn't make a fuss about this, after all, we both grew up in the SW USA. However, she didn't want any part of it. Then, we started having kids.

Reality brought new protective instincts and she got interested. All this was long ago and the kids are all aged out and gone. Although I haven't spoken to her in years, I would be certain that the Ruger SP101/5720 she settled on is still close by.

So, ya just never know...
