Greetings from Australia

Postby youwillknowourvelocity » Sat Jan 21, 2012 8:44 am

G'day (as we're prone to saying). I'm a 22-year-old university student with plans to study in Chile (probably Santiago) in early 2013. I've done two years of Spanish and expect that, when I complete third-year Spanish this year, I will confident enough for immersion.

I'm drawn strongly to Latin America by the food, architecture and nightlife, and I'm informed that Chile has some of the region's best universities. I hear from people I trust that the women in Chile are exquisite; as a bachelor, I would consider myself blessed to find a chileana for a partner. But of course, I will not neglect to make lasting friendships with both sexes.

Good luck Youwill, it won't be easy but there are some good people around and at 22 you can afford to take some chances. You'll find some good tips from this site and opinions from all sides. :)

Yes, some of them certainly are, and you can trust that it's natural beauty, not the end product of cheap plastic surgery as in the case of Las Argentinas.

At some point you may discover that they are normally called "chilenas" rather than "chileanas."

There are some good-looking chilenas. And I have met both of them.

Shouldn't that be directed at the sender?

Good-looking people are in a minority everywhere.
