Matress reviews on reclamo.cl

Postby seawolf180 » Sat Jan 14, 2012 11:12 am

I was going to buy a new king size matress from Rosen. The Rosen I'm replacing was a good purchase, but has just worn out after 10+ years.
Then I checked out all the negative reviews on Reclamo.cl. Dozens, and it doesn't look so good for the competition either
So, anybody had any experience buying a good, or bad, matress lately.

And, you all might find the Reclamo.cl forum useful, if you didn't know about it.

You can even a pot shot at a Chilean company. Not that they'll give a shit. But who knows, given time, maybe something will come of this site. I noticed that Rosen had actually responded top a couple of the first entries on a thread.

FWIW I have bought a futon and a mattress from Rosen and they were fairly decent quality. The mattress is a 1.5 size, fairly firm, and it goes on the guest bed so I have not tried it much. The futon has a rather thin mattress but I bought it when Sodimac had one similar for less, but they refused to sell it at any price since it was their floor model.

reclamo is good, but remember this is chile, they expect the best from the cheapest..... :)

Make sure they are comparing apples with apples,

If you buy rosens cheapest matterest and put it on a box americano, you are going to have a shitty night sleep.....

also, if you want a imported brand, like selly, check hte depatment stores, and easy... they are known to bring htem in....

FYI, i have a cannon king, brought it second hand 100 luka, (was 1m new), i dont like it, too hard for me..... if i were to get a new one i would probably go the CIC, the quality is "so so", but the price isnt too bad and it is comfy... but for how long... who knows?
Plan N....... Back On track

Our bed/mattress from Celta aren't bad (though they're certainly worse for wear after 10 years of use plus being shredded by the cats).
