Frozen margarita, anybody?

Postby T_ROBO » Wed Jan 04, 2012 8:00 pm

I just came back from the cold weather in the US and found the heat here unbearable. Luckily, my experiment to create frozen margarita to alleviate the heat seems to work (on me):

2 parts of lime juice
1 part of honey (or more if you prefer sweeter drink)
1 part of tequila
1 part of grand marnier (or cointreau)
lots of ice

put everything in a blender and blend into a slush, pour the slush into a glass (with salt on the rim), and start the enjoyment :-)

With the fine weather in the south fruit like raspberries are very abundant and cheap at the feria. Add them to your margarita :D Also, given the summer cold that's going around down there all the vitamin C, anti-oxidants, and sugars that can't be metabolized by bacteria won't do any harm either.
You are disturbing me. I am picking mushrooms.
