I just saw that Paraguayan meat was back this week in Lider. Not sure if the prohibition has been lifted, if someone in customs is not paying attention, corruption or it is old meat imported before the ban. I used to work in international trade consulting and we had to always keep on top fo those restrictions.

Grass. At least down here. We don't have corn to feed them, and they are exported to the north, which for us is Puerto Montt. And even in the north I have never seen cattle eating anything but grass.
There was an earlier thread on the subject and it was noted that a great deal of beef sold in Chile comes from Paraguay. But of course the patagonian beef is the best.
