It should be simple, in many communities it’s the corner store running a small bakery for simple pan, a friend goes in the morning and afternoon for pan fresh from the oven to the corner store in La Reina.

A number of gringos have tried to startup deliveries in santiago but have given up after they figured the market was too small!

Here in Antofagasta, the Hare Krishnas make vege hamburgers sell them in the street. They don't have permits, so are constantly evading the pacos. If they do get caught, all the hamburgers for the day get taken off them, but they don't get any other sort of fines. So it's not a big risk to sell while getting a permit, in my opinion.

arica also has a small hare krishna ashram...
(ok, ok, they actually live up a ways up valle de lluta in poconchile)
but they pop into the city every week and sell some homemade bakery goods!
one must catch-as-catch-can to actually see them (el centro) and make a purchase...
g~j cannot comment on the legality of this - or the local pacos permit enforcement?
but we can say unreservedly... they sell very, very good bread!
