Chilean ghost stories

Halloween is coming up (although I don't understand WHY Chileans would celebrate it except it seems the various retail outlets are trying to promote it). Anyone know some really scary Chilean ghost stories? I could tell you a few Filipino ones but let's start with local scary tales.

For the same reason they have adopted other holiday practices from other places -- more opportunities to buy trashy baubles, eat excessive amounts of food dripping with frying oil, and to stay up most of the night with sound systems at 102 dB(A) whilst drinking vast quantities of alcohol. (You still don't get it? )
