now listen big guy - pure heaven notwithstanding...
you told g~j you had cleaned up your diet...
you told g~j you were watching your weight...
you are in mutton~landia now...
so, eat more sheep - not spam :?:

haha I have cleaned up my diet and in this area there is no Spam to be found, just cheap meat loaf whatever that is. So I stick to mutton kebabs :alien:

None of this, though, changes the fact that Spam, Rice and Eggs is pure heaven. :)

Oh yeah and Stagg Chili is pretty good, in a Spam kind of way. Tastes great, murky ingredients list, and 100% unhealthy.

reminds g~ of a story an old M8 once told me...
russ was an anthropologist...
he lived in micronesia close on 10 years (mainly in pohnpei)
he related how the locals "loved" spam - the rationale being this...
historically, many of the islanders had previous cannibalistic tendencies
now that being frowned upon when "civilized" ways were introduced...
(civilization along with canned spam, of course...)
the natives were adamant that spam was very close in taste to human flesh
hence, its immediate popularity...!
just fwiw...

Hahaha Micronesians do love Spam. :) In fact, they got a special kind of Spam label for the islands called "Spam Island" and when we left Saipan they were running a promotion for Spam gear, hats, tshirts, etc based on how many labels of Spam you turned in.
