We are currently in puerto varas and would like to know if there are any gringos who would be willing to meet us for lunch or dinner to discuss living in Chile or share any ideas. We know cars, clothes and dining out is very expensive. We knew this before we came. We have found medical and local food to be very affordable. Could someone please advise us as to the cost of rent in a safe neighborhood near Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt or Frutillar?
