cost to ship a small amount of stuff

I've been in Coquimbo for about 3 weeks now, and I need to figure out if it's worth having any of my stuff shipped over from the US. I'll be able to get the tax exemption for about $5000 (I think), so I think I'd just need to worry about shipping costs, and all the stuff that happens when it gets to the port in Valparaiso (I would probably pick it up myself, and drive it back to Coquimbo). I've talked to the people at Decapack, but I'm still confused about how much the total cost would be. So I was wondering, does anyone here know about how much it would cost to ship about 1 or 2 cubic meters of miscelaneous household stuff from the US? And is there a cheaper company than Decapack, that's also fairly reliable? I'm not worried about how long it takes. But I'd like to avoid those expensive, time-consuming problems I keep reading about. Thanks!
