Yes..this is the ufo, chupa cabra, crop circle sighting report topic

We don't have a 1 800 number yet but technicians are working on it...so report your sightings here and lets see where it goes.

I guess all the cool sightings happen in southern Chile?

About a week after I moved to Valpo I was out on the terrace in the back of my house at 2am and saw a light flying around over the harbor for about 8-10 seconds. Unusual movements, not a helo or plane. Not too immpressive really, I was thinking, "Is that all you got, show me something."

I've seen crazy stuff before in California.

au contrair my friend.....what after 3 months you think the ufos are coming over for mate at 7??....north, south, up and down and all over...btw in valpo are you up and behind el cerro de artilleria and a bit north of the faro, above the camino nuevo and near the new hospital??? just curious...I saw some spooky stuff out there a year ago so thats why I ask...

I'm across the street from Cementario de Dissidentes on Dinamarca, the back stairs go down to Calle? Ecuador and Lider market. My neighbor said they have ghosts, but I doubt it. They leave me alone anyway

Yeah, I think I got the Chilean stay up real late and gab thing going on now.

...about a year ago...no it was two years ago....I went up with some family and friends past the cerro de artilleria ....there is a funicular there that goes up to the museo naval...anyway... they had the road closed and we went through anyway...the road winds around in and out through the rocks above the beach oging up a little...at the end there is a faro...light house where it flattens out...below the light house there is a big flat open area but its still below and kind of tucked away below this nieghborhood that has military housing, the escuela de suboficiales de la armada and the military hospital with a new wing on it...and then of course some civie housing apartment blocks...I thought the lighthouse had been torn down years ago or at least wasn't working....we stopped at the open area and were looking around because the light from the faro would go out over the water and looked cool...so were are out there and this guy comes walking up the road ...he is in all blue/black, dressed for the cold and has a cap on...we look at him but he doesn't seem to notice us...he is smoking and we got a wiff of the cigar...he passed by on the downhill side of us off the road, through the clearing we were in over the small fence barricade on the sea side of the clearing and into the rocky brush that goes down to the beach...he passed about 150 feet away and kept going into the dark....we looked at each other and thought where is he going?...we crossed over the barricade as well and in about 100 feet saw there was really no where for him to go as it went straight down to the water...he was gone...we went back to the truck and were thinking about this when sure enough about 15 minutes later the same guy comes walking up the road about 1/2 a km away and does the same thing again....we kinda called out to him but he ignored us and walked in the exact same path as before...we were a little spooked by this time and so got in the truck to split and went down the same road we came up in...and about a km and a half later we passed the same guy again walking up the hill...very...very...very.... spooky...none of us have talked about it since and really this is the first time I've mentioned it to anyone...

Say, anyone spotted the comet in Chile? I believe I have photos of it from Temuco with my cheap digital camera. I am just not sure I am mistaking a star for the really bright comet that everyone in the rest of the World is talking about. What we seen from central Temuco Saturday night at sunset just seemed far to bright to be a star. It was visible with street lights in the setting sun.

That is spooky! Had to be a ghost, I 've read that's how they act, they're stuck in a loop or something repeating the same thing over and over, haunting the same place.

What did the guys clothes look like? Could you see if they looked like from a different era?

I saw the comet I think. I wondered what it was because I haven't heard anything about it. Pretty bright looking up there. I hope it's not the comet that's supposed to destroy the Earth that they always talk about on Art Bell and George Noory's shows.

Then again Chile's probably a safe place to be if a comet hits Earth.

to get a good idea where to find it. I haven't been able to see it because of the recent offshore haze. What's witht that haze anyways? Is it normal for the summer?

La Segunda is reporting that Tuesday will be the best day to view the comet in Chile; however, everyone else in the world is saying Sunday was the best day to view it.

Well we had been gone a couple of weeks, and when we came back we went over all the usual doings and goings on...but then it was a couple of days afterwards that my mother in law brings up something like ...sure would be nice to have those lights up on a night like tonight....wha????so she starts with the what happened....she was in the house and the last to go to bed about 11:30 and she looked out the front window and saw a glow accross the road and down and off in the other pasture but didn't really think about it too much...but then a while later she gets up cuz the glow was stilll there..and now her brother was up looking at it to(he was passing through)...so they sat and talked and looked out th ewindow for about 45 minutes and watched this glow in the pasture accross the road ....it turns out that the pasture after the road bends down into a gully but a little wider and it was there were the glow was coming from..its about 500 meteres from the house and maybe al ittle more.....during all this time it was as quiet as it usually is in the south at night....a heavy quiteness and thats it...so they sat watching when the glow came up above the gully and then took about 45 minutes to cross over to where the house is ...slowly, slowly slowly it came about 100 meters above the ground and still no noise ....it passed over the house and into the north pasture for about 300 meters and then took off fast. They did not see any type of "craft" just the light and she said that it illuminated an area somewhat larger than a soccer field and that the light was very white as opposed to "yellow"....

So I sat in the kitchen listening and asked if they had gone down to the area in the pasture where it had been and she said yes and that I'd have to go see it for myself if I wanted but that the dogs would not go as they went insane the first day after when they went to look.

So I left the house and went across the road, through the gate and over the low slung hill and into the wide gully ...the dogs were with me to this point but soon became very nervous, half bark-yelp and jumping straight into the air...and then a I came to this area in the field about 60 meters in diameter that the corn was lying down and swirled in a clockwise direction...not only that but it was burned...not really burned but kind of toasted.....it was a perfect circle and all burned uniformly laid down flat....the dogs wouldn't stay with me but would run to the edge and pass through the area every little bit but wouldn't stay...barking, yelping, and whining the entire time....at that point of our land we come really close to a nieghbor and he and his kids came out....the kids were all excited and pointing up and exclaiming any and all description of what they saw and the old man just shook his head and sat there with a cold., pale look on his face...he did not want to talk about it and never has...that was two or so years ago and really as much as you'd think people would still be talking about it, they don't...its not like it happens all the time but more like ..."i gotta go to work tomorrow so who cares.....wanna buy my cow?" ....and thats that.

Hey, does anyone know anything about "Israeli agents" scouting out Patagonia? I thought it sounded like some kind of paranoid nonsense and lame attempt to discredit certain people owning large tracts of land, but now my boyfriend seems to have semi-confirmed some of these stories with a well-respected lodge-owner down there. Is this merely an ugly version of conspiracy theory?
