En Manuel Montt, al lado de la tienda Cherry, hace dos años funciona el minimarket Don Harry, que importa de India casi todos sus productos. Hay de todo para cocinar y según el dependiente, –oriundo de Bombay y sobrino de Don Harry–, casi todos los restoranes de comida india de Santiago se surten aquí. Los productos más cotizados son el
arroz basmati Indian Gate ($ 2.300, 1 k); el chicken masala, o mezcla de condimentos en polvo para adobar el pollo ($ 2.000); el papad, o tortillas que los indios doran en un sartén y comen como aperitivo (desde $ 1.000) y la bolsa de hojas de curry ($ 10.000, 250 g aprox), un ingrediente fundamental. Excellent, i even sent the guy a PM and told him to stop spamming if he posted once and only once he would of had business for years from all the gringos,
going to check it out in the weekend!, im sick of paying $4000 for the pastes at unimarc!
