Passport use (dual citizenship)

Postby Lenny » Wed Aug 24, 2011 1:49 pm

Hi all.....can a person with two passports, for eg. - UK and Canada use one if the other is expired. The resident visa is stamped in the passport that will expire...therefore can one enter and exit chile on the passport that is still valid. Ofcourse the Carnet etc. is still up to date so it is just a passport issue and the hassle of renewing.

Thanks,
Lenny

You can enter and exit with your carnet alone.

You need leave on the same one as you use to enter. They should not grant a visa past the expirary of the one you choose to use if they do their job properly.
