APHIS health certificate question

Postby thisisreallycomplicated » Tue Aug 16, 2011 4:37 pm

I may have to reschedule my flight for a couple days later, and I have an APHIS form 7001, that was filled out by my vet on August 11. Does anyone know the absolute latest I can arrive in Chile, before the form is too old, and I'll have to get another one?

I think I have 10 days from August 11. But I'm wondering how that's interpreted in Chile. Can I arrive anytime on August 21? Or does Chile consider it expired at 12:01 AM on August 21? My new flight is scheduled to arrive around 10:00 AM on August 21, and I'm clueless about how stuff is done in Chile compared to the U.S. So I thought I'd better ask.

No, I'm a guy. So crying probably won't work. But maybe they'll feel sorry for my dog?
